Daily maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle axle
(1) Before running the vehicle, check whether the external connecting bolts of the axle are loose, whether the axle leaks oil, whether the wheel hub and reducer assembly make abnormal noises, etc.
(2) Mandatory maintenance of vehicle axles:
A: Mandatory maintenance is carried out between 3000-5000km depending on the operating conditions of the vehicle.
B: The first maintenance includes replacing lubricating oil, gear oil, checking the front axle toe in, adjusting the brake clearance, and checking all fasteners.
(3) Regular maintenance of the vehicle axle:
A: Regular maintenance is carried out every 10000 kilometers of operation after the first maintenance.
B: The contents of regular maintenance include: replacing lubricating oil, tightening various fasteners, checking the toe in, checking the wear degree of the brake friction plate. If it reaches the wear limit, it should be replaced in a timely manner and the brake clearance should be adjusted. Check whether the clearance between the reducer assembly and the driven and driven gears is too large, and whether the gear oil exceeds the service efficiency. If there are similar situations, the clearance should be adjusted and the grease should be replaced in a timely manner.
